Tuition Rates & Fees for Full-Time and Part-Time Students

The tuition rate includes the college/student fee and technology fee.

County residents: $180.00/semester hour

E-Learning Courses – County residents: $180.00/semester hour

E-Learning Courses – Out-of-County residents: $198.00/semester hour

Out-of-County residents: $198.00/semester hour

Out-of-State or foreign residents: $270.00/semester hour

E-Learning Courses – Out-of-State residents: $270.00/semester hour

Ocean County High School Students: $130.00/semester hour (after applying Trustee Discount of $50.00)

Silver Edge Senior Citizens: $130.00/semester hour

Course or Material Fees

A course or material fee listed below will be required of all students enrolled in certain designated courses. Fee categories appear at the conclusion of applicable course descriptions. A special table of fees, not shown here, also exists for International Education Courses.

In addition to the above, students may be required to purchase material for their own use in conjunction with certain courses as noted at the end of those course descriptions. These costs will be identified by the course instructor and will not be included on the student’s bill prepared by the college.

Tuition and Fees Payment

Tuition and fee payment arrangements should be made at the time of registration. Checks or money orders (made payable to Ocean County College), cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted.

Tuition Payment Plans

Ocean County College offers a payment plan that divides the tuition and fee payments into equal installments, after pending financial aid and scholarships are considered and the initial deposit. Enroll in an affordable Payment Plan today!

Sign up to receive your student refund electronically. Simply provide your bank account information, and we’ll deposit funds directly into your account.

While your payment will be automatically deducted on the day it is due, you can make a partial payment earlier through mycollegepaymentplan.com or Student Finance in Ocean Connect.

Yes! To avoid a payment plan fee, you can pay your balance in full!

Residency Definitions

Ocean County Residents

Any person with a permanent Ocean County Address is an Ocean County resident. Proof of residency is a valid New Jersey Voter Registration card, a Motor Vehicle Registration, a driver’s license, or a County ID card. Ocean County College admissions priority is given to Ocean County residents. (Armed Forces personnel and their dependents stationed in Ocean County are considered Ocean County residents.)

Out-of-County Resident

A resident of a New Jersey county other than Ocean County.

OUT-OF-COUNTRY RESIDENT

A person in the United States who is not of permanent residence, with non-immigrant status as defined by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service. Persons in this category may need to file an I-20 student visa form.
